CHBS President’s message
Brothers: I want to wish all members, family, and friends of Cherry Hill Brith Sholom a happy and healthy remainder of the Summer.
We have an exciting year planned and I want to encourage everyone to take part in the events that Cherry Hill Brith Sholom has to offer.
I want to thank Marc and Fran Richman, as well as Ricky and Lisa Weiser, for planning the axe throwing evening at Chopper’s Hatchet House. It was a great event, with none of the lodge brothers seriously hurting themselves, and Marc Richman walking away victorious. I believe he framed the axe over his fireplace.
I also want to thank Marc Witte for coordinating the tubing event at Palace Outfitters in Mays Landing. The weather turned out great for tubing down the Great Egg Harbor River, although one did have to watch out for low-hanging trees…
As the Summer winds down, I find my tenure as President of Cherry Hill Brith Sholom coming to an end. It has been a pleasure being your President, along with the support of a great executive board and members who always give a hand. There are also the fond memories of events, and, of course, of the annual retreat at the Antler Gun Club. I wish the best to incoming President-elect Marc Richman.
